This song is hella good but it is not appropriate in the slightest for the second half of after story

I've always thought that this song and Dango Daikazoku should have been swapped. This suits the lighter tone of the first season more, whereas Dango is more emotional and fits After Story better.

Real talk: they should have *at least* switched this with the first season's ED. Nothing is less fitting than Nagisa dying, us bawling our eyes out and then bang, happy, peppy upbeat ending theme.

This is one of those endings where something super sad and heartbreaking happens and you get this to completely turn the feelings from crushed, to confused and weirdly vibing.
